Hi, looking to get a Leaf and since I have an EV already that uses a standard charging port, I was wondering whether there's any easy way of getting the Leaf to use my existing one. Or should I get a different charging point altogether?

Our leaf has a type 2 charging port. We use a Zappi to charge it without issue.

The leaf uses the same port as other EVs to charge at home overnight. It's the fast charging port that differs. At least in my experience of a MK2 Leaf.

If it's the Mk1 leaf it has a different AC charging socket. You can buy a "Type 2 to Type 1" adaptor

I have an adapter for my Kia Soul, purchased it on Amazon for around £40 and has never been an issue with my charger at home. The one I purchased is no longer available, but the same as this one.
