There doesn't seem to be anything on PH yet but the YouTube videos seem very promising, despite it being based on a common Stellantis (sp) platform.

Possibly the first EV I. 6 years, since my i3s, to lure me into buying a new one.

The old saying used to be that you weren't a true petrolhead unless you'd owned an Alfa. Does that mean buying an Alfa EV would make me a proper petrolhead wink

I think it means you are brave hehe The reputation of Alfa electrics and an EV, what could go wrong.

I do quite like it even though it is a small SUV.

it's built in Poland alongside it's sister cars. Alfa is a very different brand these days.

It was a tongue in cheek remark.

Haha. I guess buying one new would be a no-no too as it'll be worth 50p after 6 months.

I guess it could be cheap on a salary sacrifice scheme.

I'm surprised PH hasn't been straight onto this. All journos I've seen have rated it highly as a decent drive.

It's reasonably quick, handles better than most, ~1500kg and is genuinely fun. Props to Alfa who seem to have put a lot of effort into this.

It's more expensive than the R5 but nice to see some competition.

Great stuff. I think it looks cracking and fancy popping to my local dealer to check out the lower spec models, as I don't think it'll hit the showrooms for a while. But it really does seem like Alfa has spent time improving on the basic Stelantis platform.

Sounds like it's more powerful than my Giulietta QV, whilst it's not even that much heavier.
Not an SUV fan, but I'd go for this one if I was in the market for a small SUV.

I'm a massive Alfa fan. My only worry is the approach massively reminds me of another manufacturer who took a main stream manufactures platform and spent time improving it massively only to no longer exist. Just hope there isn't a risk they go the same way as SAAB.

The front grille, styled as it is in black plastic with all manner of cutouts, shapes etc, just makes me think some chrome trim has fallen off.

Other than that it’s not too bad a looking car considering it’s underpinnings and today’s legislation. Could have been a LOT worse.

stellantis encourages their brands to maintain their brand identity
