It's essentially it's a 2022 Roewe RX5 with an MG bumper. Looks reasonably decent for a SUV if a bit anonymous. The similar sized MG One is a better looking car but only available in China. I wonder if they will bring the next gen electric Marvel here, they already have the current model in Europe. Considering how well MG's are selling SAIC have a few vehicles that would work here. The ZS and MG5 are pretty ancient now.

I think an issue for MG is they don't really have a style identity other than the new big grill. There isn't really anything else to link the models. For anyone who's interested in cars it's obvious that some of their cars are just plucked from the generic SAIC sister range with an MG snout stuck on.

I think basically all of the petrol ones are because they very much view ICE as a stop-gap which isn't worth investing too much into.

They have much more interesting ICE vehicles in other markets, have a look at what SAIC offer elsewhere, a few PH worth cars kicking about like the MG5 Pro, MG6 GT and the MG7 Trophy.

Are these out ?
Sure I saw one here in France charging. Didn’t notice as it’s just a big white SUV white good only could tell it’s an MG by the badge.

You most probably saw an MG Marvel R, we don't get it here in the UK, popular in Europe though.

It's a bit like a Ford Kuga mixed with a Lexus NX rear end...

Whilst I'm sure it's perfectly functional, really doesn't do anything for me.
