Charger for BYD Seal IOG Compatible

If you have a BYD Seal what EV charger are you using or recommend for Octopus IO Go? The Seal has a bigger battery than my last EV so just taking the 6hrs at the cheap rate as I have been doing for the last couple of years is not enough to charge the battery overnight. With extra slots on IOG at the cheaper rate I should get closer to a full charge.

There is no integration with the car yet so I could swap the charger for something like an Ohme Pro or Wallbox. Not sure what charger to go for.

Does the charger have to be able to use (read) the car API to work out the current state of charge to calculate how long it needs to charge for to full for it to work with IOG or is simply having a 'compatible' charger enough?.

Get a compatible charger and then the Octopus scheduler won't need to use the car's API
