Nissan Ariya Lease Deal

Thought I'd start a thread to avoid cross talk in the main lease deals one...
I've ordered one (will be my wife's car, replacing a Qashqai). No delivery date yet but we wanted to push it to late May / June anyway as that's when the current car goes back.
Had a better look around one yesterday and interior space is huge which I'm very pleased with due to having young kids with enormous child seats.
There's apparently an issue where the timed climate control can set off the alarm. A mate who works at Nissan tells me there's a fix so I'm hopefully going to check it's been done before delivery.
They don't appear to come with carpet mats, so unless Alphabet supply them (I know some lease companies do) they need to be bought. I'm not keen on the price of the Nissan ones for a 2 year lease!
Unfortunately it's not supported by OVO anytime yet, which means I will probably move electricity supplier when my contact is up. Although the Renault Megane is supported so that may suggest it won't be too hard for them to support the Nissan.

Not got one, although a neighbour has, but I was just going to ask if you already have a charger at home? I have charged up during the day too (6 hrs) because I needed more charge for a longer journey but try not to.If you’re on Octopus Go, have a look at your last few bills and check your average rate because you might be better off on Tracker (single rate, changes daily) or Agile (half hourly price changes).
On Agile on Saturday I used 65kWh of electricity at a cost of -£2.84 as the price sometimes goes negative when there is excess capacity in the grid, usually when it’s windy. The average rate on Agile I’ve paid is 12.45p/kWh this year. This week it was 2.94p/kWh.
EV tariffs are good value if you charge daily at least the same amount as you use generally - so if you use 10kWh in the home you put 10kWh in the car, the brings you average rate to about 17p/kWh. If you don’t need to charge every day and can avoid days where it might be more expensive then you are usually better on Agile.

Another reason to want a guaranteed cheap overnight rate is solar batteries. We have enough battery capacity that charging them overnight at 7.5p/KWh means that coupled with even the most overcast of days, we pretty much only import electricity at the cheap rate. Agile would be great, but manually faffing with changing when the batteries charge would be a royal PITA. So with a PHEV and an EV as well as the house to charge, Intelligent works the most consistently for us.

Mats aren't included from Nissan, Tusker included some cheap and cheerful ones as part of the lease. I'm sure you could find some on ebay etc.
There's a few recalls for bits and pieces including the alarm activation if remote HVAC is used - but there's been a fix in the wild with dealers for some months now so yours should come with that already done.
It's a great all round car.

Yeah that's what I've ordered. Everything I've read points to no mats included. I thought they came with the plush carpet.
Hopefully someone on here will get one delivered soon and we can confirm!
Mats & a full battery should come as standard!

Any idea what would be the best charger to get for this car and the likely cost?
I'm likely to pull the trigger on a £412 pm Salary Sacrifice deal for a gunmetal metallic 87KwH Advance model on 36month 10k miles pa, 16.5p excess mileage charge with full maintenance, insurance and tyres. That's assuming one of the 5 cars this afternoon is still available.

I am with Octopus as I have PV and Battery.
IOG gives me 7.5p charging at night and 15p solar export (so will load batteries at night).
I went for the Zappi b.c. it allows solar-to-ev charging.
But if you're not in that situation just go for the cheapest one with installation.
Octopus starts from £899 all inclusive.

The £412 [of take home pay] a month deal I was considering a bit up this thread, disappeared and the remaining stock cars increased by £70 a month by the time I was ready, so I sacked it off when they didn't budge on price.
Looked back a few days later and lo and behold the same stock car in Aurora Green (looks black to most people, loved it at the dealers) was available lower than the original price.
I re-spec'ed the supplied courtesy car (if off the road with an approved supplier for more than 24 hours) from a small to a large car, with every thing else being equal and pulled the trigger at £407 a month all in (Happy days which I think is a great deal). Tusker have all details needed from me and are now awaiting the company to ok it, before dealer gets instructed it is mine.
Any idea how long Nissan dealers really take, as they apparently have the car on site & not at the docks? Tusker say 5 to 6 weeks, but I've sold my slightly sick 16 year old Supercharged V8 Jag XF to my garage man, and have their courtesy car until 21st May, and could really do with it by 6th June.
