One handed plug in at home
Discussion
Partly because I couldn't place the charger so that I can park next to it, and mostly because I didn't want to be coiling and uncoiling a dirty cable; I have a simple arrangement that allows me to plug into the car in a one handed operation.
This shows my charger unit with the cable going up to the porch before hanging down in a loop and connector sitting in its holster. The cable isn't dragging on the ground.
When I park up, I can open the charge port on the car, reach up for the connector and plug it in with one hand, keeping the cable off the ground and not needing to uncoil/coil the cable.
You don't need a porch, just use a suitable hook to hang the cable from the form a loop. These are perfect as they will stop the cable being bent in a tight radius.

Thanks for the insight, looks a smart solution to keep it neat and convenient.
Unfortunately my charger is next to the garage, which is an up and over door, so I need to leave 1m to ensure the door can open.
I've seen this solution from Charge Arm, but not sure it would look ok on the front of the house.
