Charger Installation cost - used PodPoint

Hi,
Am struggling to find info on the cost of installation only. A neighbour has offered me his PodPoint charger FOC which is three years old. He needed a solar compatible unit.

We have a MINI EV and XC90 PHEV, both of which charge from a domestic socket and will charge overnight.

However, I want/know I need a proper charger and if I could get this installed for under half the cost of a new unit, I’d probably do it.

The PodPoint is wi-if enabled so think that means I can use it to schedule charges and work with a tariff such as Octopus intelligent.

Before I go and speak to installers/electrician, any ideas in the cost?

Firstly I don't believe the Pod point and your Volvo is not compatible with Intelligent Octopus. I believe the Mini is.

Secondly, I've got a few quotes recently for labour only to fit a charger and the prices were coming in around between £300 to £400. This is for a standard installation.

In summary I rather pay extra and get a brand new charger fitted which is compatible with Octopus and would come with a warranty.

Sell it on eBay and put the money toward a new one (preferably one compatible with Octopus Intelligent)
