Maxus spare parts.
Discussion
I didn’t know whether to put this in the Commercial Vehicle forum or in here, but I suspect the thread will get more answer in this part of the forum.
Having just spent £2000+ on fuel and maintenance for my two work vans last month, I’m kicking myself at getting a Renault Trafic last year instead of a Maxus e Deliver 3.
The only issue is spare parts…..
Whilst regular service parts, (excluding brake fluid and cabin filters), is a moot point, I do get through my fair share of ball joints, drop links and various other suspension parts.
With my two Renaults, (Kangoo & Trafic), Euro Car Parts always has what I need with a 24 hour delivery slot.
No such luck with the Maxus. The same goes for eBay, and what little used items are on eBay, go for 10x what I’d pay for Renault items, (door mirror glass £115 compared to £15 for the Renault).
Does anyone know who does Maxus spare parts? Are there various suspension components unique to Maxus, or do they still use Ford bits? Is it a case of Main Dealer only?
Thanks in advance
