Fisker cars - back in production
Discussion
No, I didn't imagine it - I saw an advertisement on TV this week for the new Fisker Ocean which looks like an electric SUV with 360 mile range.

Back in the day Fisker made a very early and very expensive, electric 4-door saloon - looking somewhat like a stretched Porsche Panamera. I saw one out in Florida and was amazed by its style and size,

Anyone know what's actually going on? There seem to be suggestions that a Chinese company bought the name and rights. It looks as though you can put a deposit down but I've not seen much more information than that. If the price really will be just £35,000 it could be an interesting entry to the market.

Not sure on the China dimension but built in Austria by Magna Steyr
Interesting - that seems to be correct, with Mr Fisker (Danish) still at the helm. The China connection I mentioned came from wikipedia and I now realise is probably limited to just the old Karma design,
"In February 2014, Fisker Automotive's Karma vehicle design, tooling and a manufacturing facility in Delaware were purchased by Chinese auto parts conglomerate Wanxiang Group. In 2016, Wanxiang would rename the holding company for the assets of Fisker Automotive to Karma Automotive."
