Volvo / ICS charging issue

Hi,

Current setup at home;

2x ICSH7D 7kw charger
1x Ohme 3 pin

We need to charge 23:30 - 05:30 for the off peak charging

However, our XC90 doesn't seem to want to play nicely with the ICS charger as it looks like the car goes into sleep mode and the charger won't activate the charging process. For our Taycan it works fine.

The Ohme charger will charge the Volvo no problem at all.

I can get around this by unlocking/locking the XC90 at 23:30 but that's a pain in the you know what.

Any thoughts? ICS don't seem to be much help!

Presumably you can't set a schedule in the car and leave the charger in "dumb" mode?

This is normally the best method to avoid the sleep issues you're seeing.

You can set a charging schedule on the Volvo app. Hopefully that will do the trick

Aha I’d forgotten about the app. I’ll give that a go
