So may have just bought a second EV. It is a Citroen C Zero with a somewhat amazing 91k on the clock. Which means in ten years it has been averaging 9k a year which in a car with a likely real range of 60 miles per charge seems a lot. Especially as said car is all of about ten cm wide!

This was not the plan when I woke up this morning! Can't find any other C Zeroes for sale with more than 40k on them. Battery seems in rude health though, maybe that's thanks to regular use?

Anyone got experience with them... Or other variants from Peugeot or Mitsubishi?

Could be because the previous owner took well care of it. Having been driven 91k, it must have had over 2,000 charge cycles by now. Or it could be that it had a battery replacement during its life, which was not uncommon.

Either way, good luck with it! It's an iconic EV.

Thanks, so far I'm happy with it. Might not have been as good at 26k new but at a tenth of the price seems perfect for my needs. Surprised how good the paintwork is and the interior looks mint... not going to win any races!

I have a tethered type 2 connector on an Ohme, looks like you can get a adaptors to allow charging of type 1. Putting aside the rights/wrongs of using such an adaptor anyone know if these work?

Putting aside the rights and wrongs, there's no reason an adapter wouldn't work as the protocol is the same, just a different physical connector.

The main "wrong" going Type 2 EVSE to Type 1 vehicle is you end up with no lock on the Type 2, as it would normally be locked in by the car.

Going the other way is less "wrong" as the Type 1 connector would have a manual lock on to the adapter, and the Type 2 end would get locked by the vehicle.
