Handy for the holidays...
I haven’t got an EV...popped up on my FB from a friend who lives in Devon.

NB: Looks like the hub is open already... the Farm shop opens on the 21st July. scratchchin
( Sounds nice though)

Certainly provides some further options for holiday goers.

We are off to the South West in mid-August. Did it last year just before the Summer Holidays in our Tesla Model 3 and to be honest it was fine. The Supercharger at Lifton was plenty busy but we never had to queue to charge. The one at Camborne was dead - we were the only ones there.

I see Osprey are operating it; do we reckon it will be ~ 79p/kWh (which seems to be the norm) or will they try their luck as it's a new, shiny destination?

Nice to have the option but Tesla chargers are still 52p I think; so unless you're staying nearby or we find ourselves unable to make it to a Supercharger I think we'll keep going.

The Gridserve facilities at Cornwall Services don't even charge as much as Osprey @ 69p. They weren't open last year when I was on holiday but they're one of the most convenient spots.

Certainly more spots will be welcome down that part of the world - Exeter was full (both Tesla and Gridserve) when we visited on Friday, although there’s about 12 more Gridserves going in soon. And of course there’s so many points it does cycle quick.

Cornwall Services is a good option for further west but no Tesla and currently it’s battery supported so maybe at some points it won’t be able to offer full charging rates
