Best EV chargepoints on the M1

Will be doing a trip up in the BMW IX3 - where are good points to fast charge on the M1, say around the midlands area?

Heading north or south and where from?

London to Sheffield. Will probably need a charge nearer Sheffield though.

I've used Tallys End at Barlborough just off J30
2 Instavolt at Costa
2 Instavolt at McDonalds
1 Chargemaster at the Harvester
Not sure of the speeds as I've never needed a full charge when heading back to East Riding so just normally stop for a loo break and a coffee

The service stations north of Derby are Gridserve with not many chargers from when I last checked so tend not to even go there and try.

Zap Map or A Better Route planner are your friend for figuring out the best route and chargers.

MK Coachway, Osprey at Lutterworth, Markham Vale, Barlborough are what I'd usually go for on that route. The motorway services you can try if you're stopping anyway (you often get lucky) but those are all just off the motorway with 2+ (many 4+) chargers.

Rugby Services have 12 350kW chargers and a bunch of Tesla ones.

One of the better service stations as well.

You will need to take the exit onto the M6 but you can get back onto the M1 easily.
