Hiya, I've got a 2021 e-Niro 4+

All of a sudden the UVO connection from my phone has stopped working, showing "Network Error" message. This has persisted now for about a week.

I thought about deleting and re-installing the UVO APP no my phone but it seems to be removed and replaced by something called KIA Connect.

But my vehicle dashboard only has KIA Live and KIA UVO options, nothing for KIA Connect.

Is my 2 year old car obsolete without connectivity any more?

A google suggests that it is rebranding. Have you tried connecting the app as you would have done previously?

I have connected/activated the UVO APP at the phone and in the car. When I try to use the APP I get the 'Network Error'.

The setup instructions for KIA Connect say to go to the network settings in the car and activate KIA Connect. There is no KIA Connect setting in the car.

Have you updated the infotainment software?

You need a chunky USB stick - 128gb - download the update onto, then installation takes 30 minutes or so.

Uvo was replaced by Connect at least a year back, and I guess it's finally been turned off.

My UVO stopped working a few months ago, and I moved over to Connect.

Personally I can't see any difference, but I don't think the UVO app is available any more.

The uvo app has been deprecated and replaced by the Kia connect app.
As above you probably need to update the infotainment too with a USB stick.

I have a 2021 4+ eniro on the latest infotainment software and it’s working ok
