EDIT: Title is incorrect, I meant a fused branch, not spur.

Firstly my electrician is coming tomorrow so I will know the answer then but I just thought I would ask here now as I am curious.

I have a dedicated 32a feed to a EO Mini EV charger and now I want a 3 pin socket in close proximity for some LED lighting outside.

Getting a new feed for said 3 pin socket is likely to be rather involved based on the location.

My question is this (and it may be ridiculous):

Can you run a fused branch to the 3 pin socket from the 32a supply that feeds the EO mini?

Technically you shouldn't.

That said thered be nothing unsafe about it.

If the supply is metered seperately for whatever reason there may be a clause.

Could you put in a small sub consumer unit with two MCBs in it?
