Ohme EV charger or others?
Discussion
Wallbox are nice and small, and these days you can turn off the lights on them.
I’ve got an ohme cable on an old charge point, software/app works well and you can use some of the smart tariffs like agile - tell it how much charge you want by when and it works out the cheapest times to charge for you.

The Ohme is a good shout as it will work with Octopus Intelligent (best EV tarriff) regardless of what car you have
Otherwise they’re all much of a muchness except the Zappi which is capable of working with solar panels to divert generation into the car automatically
Not only the Zappi. Also the Hypervolt and whatever the Anderson is now called can use excess solar. And the latter two don't look like a toilet seatOtherwise they’re all much of a muchness except the Zappi which is capable of working with solar panels to divert generation into the car automatically
Saw this company advertising charger + install for a reduced price:
https://powerverse.com/?utm_term=powerverse&ut...
Looks like a good deal but obviously a fairly new company.
Thoughts?

I was going to OHME (seems the default choice) but this one seems to be a good (cheaper) alternative.Thoughts?
Would be good to see if anyone has experience of using as I'd rather fit once ....
Hope this makes sense.

I would just make sure your vehicle or charge point are compatible with the EV tariff provideryou intend using. My MG4 is not compatible with OVO so I use an OHME charge point which is.
Hope this makes sense.
Good call. I’d already checked - looks like the charger isn’t set up for iO Go but apparently coming soon. Car is supported by Octopus so all good.Hope this makes sense.

I’ve decided to go for the Powerverse install. Completed the survey so hopefully will hear from them soon. I’ll update how things are going.
Just for competeness, I guess you know that Powerverse is only supplying someone elses 'charger'.https://vchrgd.com/vchrgd-chargers-shop
Not necessarily a bad thing, and though Powerverse are reasonably new, BP aren't likely to disappear any time soon.
As already mentioned, for most people, the most important feature on a 'charger' would be whether it supports your chosen energy suppliers tariff.
I wouldn't take a bet on any manufacturer saying 'coming soon' if it is a feature that you want/need.
