What does the PH ev massive think to this?

As a current xc90 owner, I love it, however it’s a bit of a hang up on the price, starting £96k. Nearly double the starting price of the D5 model I’m in now.
It is stacked with tech I guess but the price is a difficult pill to swallow.
£1300 a month on their subscription scheme Current monthlies are 1/3rd of this.

Forgetting about the list price for a minute as how many people are handing over £100k in cash, the biggest issue is leasing cost as affects things like salary sacrifice.
£66k for 3 years and 30k miles. They'll be a vanishingly rare sight on UK roads.
3 years, 30k miles and nothing down is £1625, so better than that quote above at least.

That's £1300 a month over 4 years and 24k miles with £5k down.3 years, 30k miles and nothing down is £1625, so better than that quote above at least.

Damn those lease numbers make my eyes water.
Nice big motor but fk me that’s insane!
I can get a salary sacrifice via work, will be interesting to see what that makes it cost. Currently there’s zero interest to jump to the electric version of what I have.
I'd be willing to bet that the gross cost will be £2k, so for a 40% tax payer you're still going to be looking at £1200-1300 per month after the tax saving. Even for someone in the sweet spot for SS (£125k) you're looking at £900+ month.Nice big motor but fk me that’s insane!

In the 100-125k range but even then that’s not affordable. As you say I don’t think we’ll see many of these on the road. Still awaiting on Rivian getting their finger out on the R1S and it hopefully not being stupidly priced.

Based on the invite I had to a dealer event this weekend £16k off xc90 T8 is possible at the moment. List is £83k for ultimate so £67k.
The ex90 styling looks too conservative to me and the LiDAR looks silly.
Undoubtedly, cheaper models will be available in time. The polestar 3 looks more sensibly priced at £80k fully loaded (again with cheaper models due later)
Someone suggested I look at the lotus eletre this week - was surprised how big the boot is (580l rings a bell) but I don’t think it’s for me

Issue with the P3 is that's it's still more of a crossover than full size SUV though? Has the look of a v60/v90 cross country, a jacked up estate car basically? The ex90 styling looks too conservative to me and the LiDAR looks silly.

Problem with that will be the low slung roof and underfloor batteries, just like the Kia ev6.
If you have small kids, or offspring with no legs, it will be fine. Put someone 5'6"+ in there and their knees will be up in the air and just the arsecheeks / small of back touching the seat. Top of the squab will be like 12" above the floor and no space under the front seats for feet.
Remember parents evening at infant school and sitting on a chair built for 5 year olds? it's like that...

I think you are likely miles off - check out the videos of people sitting in the back and that doesn’t appear to be the case at allProblem with that will be the low slung roof and underfloor batteries, just like the Kia ev6.
