I postulated on here years ago about the amazing cars EV tech would eventually bring to driving enthusiasts, from memory, motor in each wheel for infinitely variable torque vectoring [2 or 4 wheel drive] - focused on driving and fun and not held back by petrol engine and transmission packaging complexity and costs...
