There is a thread running "Are Electric Cars the biggest con on the planet???" - it has somehow grown to 500 odd pages of troll and response.
Nothing new is being added and in my opinion, points have been explained and ignored, facts have been presented and ignored so clearly it was an exercise in trolling that should now be closed.
So the question is - should the thread "Are Electric Cars the biggest con on the planet???" be closed?

It's not very democratic to try and get other people's threads closed just because you don't like the content.
Most of the threads in the NPE section would be closed if everyone took that approach.
As already suggested, best to just ignore it and people will soon get bored once no-one is taking the bait.

It's not that i don't like it, i just wondered how many others felt like it was trolling and pointless rather than actually useful. Most of the threads in the NPE section would be closed if everyone took that approach.

I worry that people who are on the fence with dipping a toe into EV ownership will read a few posts in that thread and think that's how it is.
Opinion is fine, fact is fine. It's just when opinion is given AS fact there becomes a problem.
But, you are right. I'll just remove the thread from my watchlist and move on with my life
