Hi

Bought a new full spec 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Rubicon for my villa in canaries . This is my third Jeep , two good ones , but this one sparked a check engine light after 2 months and less than a 1000 miles and it’s been at the Jeep dealer for now over 50 days as dealer says he can’t get the parts .
Does anyone know someone sensible in Jeep Europe as Spanish customer services don’t answer emails or phone calls and the dealer tells me to speak to Jeep and Jeep says to speak to the dealer , I’m not getting anywhere other than very frustrated and just about to start legal action .
Anyone else had similar experiences ? .. are Stalantis normally this useless at looking after their customers ?

What’s wrong with it?

Apparently it’s a battery coolant pump they are waiting for , Jeep Europe have advised “ we don’t have a firm date “ for the parts delivery . They are producing new cars so must have these in production ,but not supporting parts for warranty claims against customer cars that have been paid for .
I have never had such a bad experience on a new car a few months old with less than 1000 miles !

i Can't think of anything worse than a hybrid Jeep to be honest, love the wife's Wrangler if I am honest.

Wouldn’t have been my first choice but you can only buy hybrid Wranglers now in Europe , petrol and diesel versions are no longer available new .
Having said that , when it’s working it’s a great car and this latest variant drives so much better than earlier JK’s.
The support though from Jeep is dreadful snd I still have no idea when the car will be fixed !!

To be fair, my wife's Wrangler MY21 has had a number of small issues, one of which was raised on here with the alarm randomly going off, numerous recalls and it still does it, so we just disable the alarm now. I just don't think Jeep have enough of a market outside the US (where every other car seems to be a Wrangler when I was there in Sept) to invest is a decent parts supply in Europe.

Would you consider sourcing the part yourself from the US?

For example ; https://store.mopar.com/oem-parts/mopar-auxiliary-...

Related article on 4xe forum ; https://www.4xeforums.com/threads/coolant-pump.177...

Thanks for useful info and links . I have posted on the 4XE string previously as user name Zince .Think I might void the warranty if I start bypassing Jeep and supply anything wrong , doubt the dealer would fit it either unless I sign a disclaimer !!

The car is only a few months and less than 1000 miles old , is it asking too much for a part to be available that’s in current production so they must have them . The support for European customers is dreadful , although lots of posts of US customers waiting months too !!
