Which domestic charger is recommended that will integrate with a solar installation.
Preferably one that does not rely on internet connection for its functionality.

Are there any others than Zappi that do this?

I had a tethered Zappi installed for use with solar/battery and it works well, doesn’t *need* an internet connection, but far easier to control with one.

I emailed myenergi about the connectivity this morning.

In 5 minutes I got a reply stating the it would work fine without internet conx, all functions available via the unit's menu. Also there is an ethernet port on the charger for connection if preferred to wifi.

I went with the Zappi due to it's integration with solar (and in my case battery as well). However I will add the batteries and inverters are currently been fitted with the solar due in the next month or so and so far I've only used it on my friends cars as mine hasn't arrived yet.

My friend (electrician) who has done the install did alot of research before installing the system and thinks this is best set up for my use.

My Zappi is connected using ethernet. WiFi is an option but as I have an ethernet switch behind the wall that the Zappi is on, I went with wired network.

Solaredge do an interesting thing.
They have a Solar inverter with built in car charger. So can charge of solar or mains But also combine the 2 so can potentially charge at 11Kw.

That's interesting, but I already have the PV system installed.

Simpson and Partners do, or will do, solar integration. Apparently the kit will be released this month.

When mine is installed, and I have a car and the sun shines, I'll let you know how I get on.
