Who's ordered a KIA EV6 GT?

I really, really want to.
But, in truth, my RWD GT Line S is actually all the power required in the real world - more would be really nice, but not needed.
Plus, the range takes a bit of a hit.
Jon, hand on heart I know you’re right 100%. Ordering the GT was my way of telling myself that I could have a reward for being green. It’s a bit like going for a run and then tucking into a bowl of Ben & Jerry’s Apart from the range ( which doesn’t bother me, my commute is only 25 miles and I will be able to charge at home) and lack of sunroof (which I didn’t want), the price gap over the AWD GT line S was only around £5k which seemed too good to miss. (They’ve fixed the price for early orders thankfully). But, in truth, my RWD GT Line S is actually all the power required in the real world - more would be really nice, but not needed.

The only thing I’m still not sure about is the different seats and the fact you can’t get the GT in blue which would be my preferred colour.
I’d be fascinated to hear your initial experiences of your car by the way.

Wouldn't change it for anything else on the market right in price range, now or due in the next few years.Just done 2,500 miles round France in it - spent just under 4 hours total charging time on 7 occasions. Longest single charge session was 32 minutes.
Comfortable, great for long-distance driving, fantastic Meridian sound system, pretty efficient for commute / non-motorway.
In short, I love it.
Mine's in Yacht Blue, which looks fantastic, so not being able to get that on the GT isn't quite a deal-breaker, but I find the White and Silver cars a bit bland.

Me too Ross, my dealer says October but I think they’re just trying to be nice to me!
I saw a regular one (in white like I’ve ordered) in town, ir looked very nice.
What colour are you getting?
It should improve my CAFE just a bit
I’ve ordered a matte steel grey one, but it seems there may be some issue with that. Waiting on confirmation from KIA. I saw a regular one (in white like I’ve ordered) in town, ir looked very nice.

This is to replace my leased (company car) model 3 performance.
As far as I’m aware they aren’t delivering any till December, so October is probably a little optimistic! When did you order?

My M3P has recently gone too and I've got a GTL-S AWD on order in yacht blue. Was very tempted by the grey but it sounded like it could be a little too harder work to maintain (I do mostly motorway miles, whatever the weather). Redditch had a YB demo and it looked great so I was sold. No rush for it so not expecting it until next year. Looking forward to it though. Colour suspended for new orders and possible delays for existing orders. I’ve heard warranty issues and / or supply issues. So I might have to change.
Even back in August last year, my dealer was strongly suggesting not to order the Matte Grey - "too much trouble to keep looking nice". So even them, there seemed to be concerns around it's viability.Edited by RossP on Sunday 15th May 08:35

You can't go wrong with YB, but I'd really rather you didn't order one - it's nice being one of very few around - I've not seen another in YB - reds and whites, yes, but no YB.
One of the doctors at my local surgery got one in YB, must have been one of the first delivered (was the first I'd seen in the flesh and a while ago now), have to agree that it's a stunning colour, really suits it and the best colour I've seen one in so far.New chargers are coming which will allow these Kias to charge at full whack:

Don't need to wait - All the 350kW Ionity chargers (plus some of the other 350's on the continent) already deliver well in excess of maximum (quoted at 233kW), but car says slightly higher and chargers deliver more than that as nett of loss in transmission/BMS:https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/business-enviro...
...this is just future-proofing

Does look really nice in YB. I have a Model S LR on order, but the EV6 GT-Line is tempting. Nothing like as fast, but not slow, and so much less expensive...
Just having a difficult time thinking about the non-Tesla charging situation here in the US...
