Hopefully just going to use workplace chargers on £8 a month subscription BP chargemaster.

Drove the Citigo iV on our channel last year and declared it an absolute joy. Really great little car. Does the Seat come with CCS? It was only standard n the top spec Skoda from memory. It will make life a bit easier for you if you venture further afield and need to charge, that’s all.

Otherwise, brilliant little EV. Have a look at our review on AutoEV.

CCS as standard according to the spec.

We’ve had ours for a few months now, got it on a cheap lease.

The passive/aggressive, “which car are you taking today, dear?” dance continues with both of us wanting to get to work with a go kart/dodgems induced smile on our faces, but trying not to run out to the mii before the other gets chance, as it would look childish.

If an electric car suits your situation, you could definitely do worse than the seat. We ran Nissan leafs for five years before, and the little mii is way more fun than those, if a little less grown up.

Don’t worry, when they rename this site “Motor Windingshead” he’ll have nothing to say wink

I might be getting one of these. Never had an electric car before, may need to use slightly more than it’s 160 mile range to get home. Do they come with the various charging cables to use with public charging stations?

What’s the deal with the servicing cost? I was hoping after expiration of warranty the tires and brakes would be the main expenses.

We've got a Citigo petrol and it's entertaining with only 60bhp - I quite fancy an EV version as I bet it'll be brilliant fun.
In!

Anyone know if there’s a weight limit for the boot (just a carpet with a thin board underneath as a boot liner) and how you set up Apple CarPlay in the mii?

General city driving I really think I could achieve up to 200 miles range, unexpected.

Every two years or 18k miles, around £200 I think?

We've had ours since June and love it, so I'll answer some questions

Carplay: connect to car via Bluetooth, setup phone to start carplay when connected to the car, put phone in dock (works for me on Android auto)

CCS: yes, up to 50kW but more like 40, will reduce if batteries get hot or are cold (no active thermal management)

Charging speed issue is fixed by the following: ensure you have 32A cable and latest software when the car arrives. If it still only charges at 16A then once you have the seat connect app working you need to set the charging current to its lowest value, save the change, and then set it back to maximum, save again. Fixed.

Active lane assist and cabin temperature defaults can be set to be the last used value (rather than on and 22C) with an OBDEleven or VCDS tool.

Quick update.
Bought a 10 metre granny charger cable from Screwfix seemed like the cheapest out there for £160

Finally after a 10 day wait for my BP Chargemaster fob I got it in the post so took the car to work, left home with 131 miles range tried it in B and Eco+ got to work after a 15 mile drive and it showed 134 miles left.
Thought I'd try the work place untethered chargers supplied by Bp, there are 3 posts, 6 connectors.
Parked the car in the bay got my lead out of the boot all smug
Swiped the card on the 1st post message flashed up 'Card Invalid' Wtf!
Tried the 2nd post same message flashed up 'Card Invalid'
Decided to call Bp Chargemaster after a 10 minute wait got through and was told "Some cards don't work on some chargers its a software glitch"
Asked them "So how will I know if my card will work on a charger"
"You won't but don't worry we can start the charge remotely"
Squeezed between 2 other cars and tried the 3rd post which already had a car charging.
Finally success, cherry popped.
How ever when I came back had a bit of trouble removing the cable and had to press the charge button with the central locking button.
In future should I remove the cable from the charger 1st or from the cable or doesn't it matter what order?

I bought the expensive seat offering, this screwfix one would’ve been better with longer cable.

I use the 10m Screwfix charger. It runs at 10 amps (2kw?), it's used on a Tesla so can be running a couple of days at a time (!) and it works great, cables and plug don't really get hot at all.
