Whilst in a shop that sells big quantities of stuff for the catering trade I noticed the cheapest veg oil was around 70p per litre, ie around 50-60% the price of diesel.
That reminded me of a period when a lot of people seemed to be running vegetable oil in various quantities in their cars to save money. I certainly knew a few.
But I can't recall the last time I heard of someone doing this, even in an old-tech engine. Anyone here filling up with straight veggie oil? What is it fuelling for you?
