I came across this the other day: https://www.drive-electric.co.uk/vehicles/tesla-mo...

Seems like a good deal. I don't see anyone else offering lease deals on a Model 3. And £410 / month seems reasonable. What's the catch?

It's not £410 a month though is it? once you take the initial payment into account it's more like £600 a month for a bottom of the range (at least in terms of what's available now) Model-3.

So over £13k to rent for two years. Probably not unreasonable for a £40k car but hardly cheap motoring.

I guess it's relative. I've been looking for a lease or PCP deal for a moderately specced Volvo XC60 and in comparison this now seems all very reasonable.

Looking at Tesla's site this must be the same as their PCH offer of £10,000 down and then £560 per month.

XC60 is oddly expensive. I switched to V60 for a much lower monthly for a better spec car.

They aren't going to be giving it away, its a new model in high demand. And one without petrol/diesel costs etc.

I just ordered my Model 3 from select leasing, slightly cheaper than that too. Although so far its been a painful process!

Based on their website including the initial payment it works out at £535 a month on a 2 year 20k deal?

EVezy are doing the SR+ for £599 a month which includes 1000 miles, insurance, maintenance, public charging and a 1 month commitment.

I went for a 3 year deal, when you factor in the deposit, it makes it a bit cheaper.

So far the ordering process has not been simple, and I don't have a confirmed order with Telsa despite me paying the deposit. Seems there is lots of waiting around whilst other people in the background are supposed to be doing paperwork. I am told the process of enterprise orders has changed, so stuck in the middle of that at the moment.

Delivery is still being estimated in July though, so will be happy if thats correct.
