hybrid assistance

Prius PHEV will.
In theory the non-plugin hybrids will as long as the battery is full when you set off. No heater use though, that'll start the engine.

You don't say what age of vehicle you are going for. My experience is with a 2007 Prius. Unless the weather is warm you won't be able to do that. It also depends on the state of charge you left the battery in when you last left it.
On cold starts the engine normally cuts in straight away. There is an electric only switch, but with a low battery the car won't allow it's use and will override it, and the engine will cut in.
Even with a good state of charge, you won't go very far unless you quickly turn all electrical kit off. So heater set to cold, no fan, no heated rear screen etc.
The engine will cut in to warm the cat up anyway.
You will only get what you want if you get a very late model or a plug in.
