Polestar have kept up their steady flow of not-much-information. The most recent is a top-down image which doesn't really tell us much. More interesting is the downloadable app which gives you a preview of what the in car entertainment UI will be like.
I've had a play about with it, and it immediately dawned on me that the UI is locked to portrait screen layout. This leads me to speculate that the Polestar 2 will have the same portrait screen (and possibly the same interior in general) that's found in the current Volvo lineup.
I like the layout in my V90, so if the Polestar 2 is the same, I think they're onto a winner.

I thought that there were "no plans" for a RHD version - or was that just the Polestar 1??
I'm fairly certain that's just the Polestar 1, as they're only building around 1500. I think the plans are for 100,000+ Polestar 2s. The to down image looks a bit like a top down view of the Volvo S60, but with a hatchback.Wayne95 said:
Global reveal on 27th Feb online.
Should be interesting. I’ve been looking at an I-pace but they are very expensive on business lease. The 2 is supposed to be more reasonable
Whereas in the US, Jaguar have just started doing 0% finance. In the UK, it's a terrible 7.9% (or 4.9% from rockar.com). It's like they don't really want to sell any :/.Should be interesting. I can't wait to see what the Polestar looks like though. I really like the current generation of Volvos, so it ought to be good!
Continues to look very appealing, although I've still not seen inside the boot, andj can't understand why the cargo space is only a stingy 404 litres.

As I understand it, they are hoping to sell these via an online only virtual showroom model.
I'd be reluctant to spend that sort of cash without at least sitting in one and feeling the quality of the materials etc.
Would a car bought new online be subject to the Distance Selling Regulations, or whatever bit of legislation superseded it?
Could you just reject it if you found the plastic a bit shabby or you couldn't get comfortable in the seats?

There will be Polestar "Spaces" which are just fancy dealerships. But yes, you'll be able to buy online, and I guess it'll be subject to at least some distance selling laws.https://www.polestar.com/uk/spaces
Some good videos showing up on the Polestar 2 from Geneva, including these from Redline Reviews and Autogefühl respectively

Interesting to see that the boot looks a lot bigger than the 404 litres would suggest. If someone could just measure it corner-to-corner, I might be tempted to pre-order...

Hopefully it'll make it "Oop North" and not just to London. Much as I would love to get my hands on the car, I don't think I could justify a three hour train journey (and I'd need to carry my longsword to check it fits in the boot )
They've also announced CATL and LG Chem will be supplying their batteries.

Polestar competition to win tickets to Goodwood, and a passenger seat ride in a Polestar 1 hill climb. Not sure I have the nerve for that!
