BMW X5 PHEV - New Model

Has anyone had any conversations with their BMW dealer about the new G05 X5 and when a PHEV version might arrive? I've seen the online info about it being a 3.0 I6 and 50 miles electric range, but nothing about a UK release date.
I spoke to my local dealer yesterday who was appreciably vague, even against my low expectations. I was told that BMW have stopped production of all PHEV cars and the most likely next car from BMW will be the iX3 in 2021! I'm surprised if that's the case but wondered if anyone else has had similar conversations. The stopping of the F30 330e production was also referenced in the call as evidence of this... what say the wider audience as the dealer didn't even seem to know about the press release?
I'm wondering whether to wait a little longer for the G05 or find a used F15 that has what I want. Currently in a 2014 330d with 74k miles on it and want to go PHEV next time.
