Won't take much Googling to come up with any number of stories along those lines.
and yet you provide not a single link to one, which suggests they can be pulled apart with little effort.I along with many are not convinced that electric vehicles are the answer (that said I am not sure what the answer is, maybe Hydrogen, maybe!) but at the same time I am not gullible enough just to sit here stroking my beard agreeing with you....
I see the OP is struggling to come to terms with the fact that ICE is in it's death throes and that EV is going to - for an absolute fact - replace them
It's funny and pitiful at the same time, watching the Hater's become incredibly gammon and turning to ever-more pathetic arguments to support an already-lost cause. Same with that LPG bloke; psychiatrist's love that sort of thing, utter denial in the face of overwhelming facts. I guess they fall into the same category as Flat-Earthers.

Good job all those modern, well silenced ICE city cars that literally make no noise when driven at 10mph (other than tyre noise) have external sounders to make sure people here them....oh no....wait....that's just electric cars isn't it. Sorry, I was distracted by your trolling there for a moment. Thanks.
think I'm on record as being hugely in favour of the ICE and not liking EVs.
AND (no word of a lie) I was knocked over by a Tesla........at granted low speed in Central London.
Dangerous bloody things I agree.
In Mr Tesla's defence.........I was pissed, and I dropped my kebab on his bonnet.
I did apologise when I stood up..........and I wasn't injured, and it was entirely my fault for walking in front of him.
I wouldn't have done it if it was a shouty V8 though.
Still think the OP is not trying very hard however.
