If your thinking about doing your bit for the environment then you might take the following into consideration...,

In the DRC some of the mined cobalt isn't verified so it could come from child workers, due to this the manufacturers are taking action to ensure this doesn't continue.

It's not really off putting at all.

And where do you think the precious metals in your ICE car come from?

Fact is, EV's are by far the greenest cars you can buy, not just because they are mechanically simple, but also because they are some of the latest cars to be built, which means they are built on production lines specifically installed with low energy and low carbon overheads. For example, the BMW i production line is mostly carbon neutral in it's energy requirements etc.

So, whilst no car is ever truly "green" a modern EV is just about the best you can get

Whats green got to do with child exploitation?

And how much Cobalt is there in an ICE compared to a EV?

As for efficient and green production lines, some even use tents getting rid of the automation and claim its more efficient than with, not sure how that equates to the latest tech

And green emissions are usually quoted against the average diesel made 5 years ago and not the latest euro standard ones but even so, if nothing else, an EV doesn't pollute outside a school

Yeah... we don't really bother arguing with these stposts in here anymore. I guess an EV isn't for you. Believe whatever you like about them.

Do you mean you can’t argue with the statement? That’s how you come across.

Or are you another blind EVer in the mould of Gangzoom? Fingers in the ears, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, I can’t hear you?

No surprise really

Clothing, sports goods, food have all had highly publicised child slavery claims

Do you trust the automotive industry to control its supply chain at lat as effectively as, say, sports goods?

It's easier to eradicate child labor in the supply chain than it is to fix earth's warming climate.

So fk off.

DRC is right up there with how not to run a country. Nothing will be changing in the next few years either...

I’m not sure you’d have a clue about either.
