The time has come to switch cars. I need five seats, a large boot space which would fit a chest of drawers (laying flat, boot and flat rear seats will be fine), ideally fast charging, zero tax and under 12k (doesn't need to be new). The distance I do will best be suited to an electric car. I've driven a Kangoo ZE crew (although no fast charge option) and a Nissan e-nv200 combi both were miles better than I was expecting. Is there anything else on the market that I'm missing?

Maybe post on the EV forum as well?

I have a 65 reg Leaf which has a fast charger (6.6kw).

Its the 30kw version and does 100-110 miles realistically per charge, that's 40-60 mph commuting so town driving it will do more I would think.

I've done 46k miles in it and its been 100% reliable with no drop in range that I can detect.

Not sure on used price.

speakEV is the place to look.

There are various commercial offerings that might do what you need but thats the best place to look.

My 48K 2012 Leaf needs a new £1100 AC compressor so this alone means I cannot recommend the car. Some servicing has been quoted at £200 - £300 and I was told I needed new front disks at only 12K. Actually had them at about 45K.

So poor attitude by dealers and silly money spares.
