It's new company car time and due to the BIK costs it a PHEV for me. I've whittled it down to either:

C350e Premium Plus - Brilliant Blue Metallic

or

530e SE - Imperial Blue

As I intend to pay nothing towards it there are no options to be added. So what should I do?*

Unless you are attracted to tacky interiors, go with the BMW.

I had a 530e and e350e on 2 day test drives. After that decision was very simple.

The beemr arrives sometime q4.

I must admit its the extra toys the 350e has that are making it tough.

The 530e SE has the heated, electric memory position seats doesnt it? Find the BMW configurator a litttle confusing on whats included or part of a pack.

Having had the W205 for the last (nearly) three years it’s not a bad car but it doesn’t have the build quality of the new beemer.

I’d say they’re not a direct comparison, with the E350e you’ve got a better ride and crucially the massive electronic dash is only a small upgrade.

I had the beemer for a weekend and drove it around London, the Cotswolds and Hampshire but ended up being left disappointed. Alll the reviews hyped it up and whilst being comfy I just didn’t get any smiles for my miles.

I’ve heard reports of the electric range on the C350e being rather poor in comparison to stated range and other models available but as it’s a company car I guess that isn’t a massive factor for you.

If it was just down to the two in your OP then I’d plump for the beemer for the space.
