eRod, fun little Swiss EV
Discussion
There's a few classic car events here in St. Moritz at the moment (most Ferrari themed), and Swiss firm Kyburz are here with their eRod EV which I thought it might be of interest to some here. The local police are using one as a pace-car for a Ferrari event in town next weekend.
The car is similar in design to an Arial, though it is an EV. It weighs 600kg and technically it's registered as a quad. You can either buy it as a kit (they reckoned it would take a long weekend to build) or ready-built. I'm hoping for a ride this week.
Range is about 130km for the cheapest version which is probably good-enough for this type of car. Starting price under £30,000 (wonder if you get a grant in the UK?) I think they're in the process of getting EU approval.
The firm makes electric tricyles that are quite common here, used, for example by the post office for delivery.

Surprised nobody else has replied to this.
Decent 60-90 mile range, option of hard top and gullwing doors, could be good fun.
