Hi all,

I've been speaking to Tesla about a car they currently have and just need people's opinions.
The car is a 17 plate with under 1,000 miles so still classed as new.
It's a 75 RWD in black with black leather with the spec below;
Solid Black Paint
Glass Roof
19" Silver Slipstream Wheels
Dark Ash Wood Décor
Premium Center Console
Black Alcantara Headliner
Free Supercharging
High Power Charger Upgrade
Enhanced Autopilot
Subzero Weather Package
Security Package
Having spent a lot of time looking into them, I really want one and with their 1.5% APR and very strong GFV, it's a hard deal to ignore.
Roughly £200/month less than buying a 2014 with 20k miles because of the residuals and APR.

Is there anything the car should have that it doesn't?

I can buy it for £65k. Whilst this is a lot more than I wanted to spend, because of the above reason, it works out cheaper than a 3 year old one.

Now that they only do a 75 or 100, will the 75's just fall massively as there will still be 85s and 90s for sale?

^ Spec looks good. One thing I would check is to see if the car has the right hardware to take advantage of the quicker 0-60 time.

In July Tesla introduced a combination of hardware and software updates which dropped the 0-60 time on the 'base' 75 cars by around one second, so from 5.3 to roughly 4.3.

May not be a deal breaker for you, but a 1 second drop is a fair performance increase.

I believe the cars in transit to the UK now do have the right hardware, but the inventory/new cars they have in stock might not.

If you do need a referral code for £750 off+free supercharging mine is below - But I would advise checking with Tesla about the potential 0-60 time performance upgrade.

So Model 3 launch hasn't shown up anything new or unexpected, first RHD cars aren't due till 2019 anyways.

S/X will remain the best way into a longer range EV here in the UK for a while.

I would go and check about the 0-60 time of the above S before ordering, you don't want to end up spending £65K on a car that is slower to 60 than the £30K version.......when it arrives in 2019 smile.

Thanks.
I have just been made aware of the fact it may not have the updated hardware.
It was registered in June so don't think it will which is a shame.
I'd order a new one but it's saying it won't be ready until October now.
