Issues with ISOFIX in Yaris Hybrid?
Discussion
We need a second car, mostly town duties including ferrying 2 little-uns so hybrid is the obvious choice - we looked at used Yaris, Auris and CT200h
Really struggled with getting the ISOFIX seats into the Yaris, the attachment bar is set too low below the level of the seat base and our seat just wouldn't locate.
Also Britax haven't approved our seat (Dualfix) for the Yaris Hybrid. They wouldn't confirm why, but from the wording it seemed perhaps they just never had the hybrid version in for testing.
Anyone using a Yaris Hybrid with a Dualfix or other isofix rear facing seat? Any insight on why it might not be approved?
(Alternatives would be an Auris or CT200h. I really didn't warm to the Auris; it actually feels flimsier inside than the Yaris. I imagine the ownership experience being pretty joyless, at least the Yaris has a little character to drive and sit in. CT has a more premium feel of course, but the missus wasn't wowed. Tough to find a used version with the right kit - power mirrors, parking sensors, DAB)
