Alternative to Fossil fuels

What does everyone think about fuel from waste plastic? Apparently it would require no modifications to ICE's and could provide an alternative to regular fossil fuels at the same time reducing plastic to landfill. Would anyone consider using?

Well yeah, if it does exactly that same thing as fossil fuel, for less money and less enviromental impact, why wouldn't you?

It doesn't have the same energy content as petrol/diesel though and I'm not sure burning plastic is any better for the enviroment.

It isn't an alternative to fossil fuel, it is fossil fuel. There's no CO2 saving.
