This would be impressive!!! How quickly could manufacturers adapts cars to charge at this rate if the infrastructure was available?

Ignoring the Grid suppy issues with a 400kW charger, current batteries cannot support that level of charging power for any period of time without overheating and/or significant life reduction!

The grid storage implications are somewhat diminished - most of these chargers (and there is a 350 KW one installed in Switzerland) seem to use local storage so they're not drawing directly from the grid for charging.

350 kW is the agreed standard for the next version of CCS so you'd think the battery issues would be sorted. I agree it's not much use for those of us with current cars.
