94Ah BMW i3 REx Full Range Test
Discussion
Hi all,
I logged how far I could get on a full charge and a full tank of petrol, and pushed everything as far as I could.
Managed 213.1 miles, with the battery saying there was another 6 miles of range remaining, which means a total real world range of this car of 220 miles, which is 10% more than the BMW quoted 200 miles.

I was driving at the speed limit where traffic and road conditions allowed. As the torque and power is instant, you don't need to floor it to be keeping up with the traffic. I had a passenger on board, and was doing 70mph on the motorway with the air-con on. However, there was a little (not much) management to get it to do the mileage I achieved.
For what it's worth, I do believe that it's possible to drive even more conservatively and you could quite probably achieve 230+ miles off a full charge and one full tank of petrol.
