9k miles / year, 2 year deal

Current is £152 per month

Merc B250e has been mentioned <£160 / month but not immediately available

I have asked the supplying dealer of the current Zoe how much cheaper they are now

I have asked sister dealership of supplying dealer of the current Zoe how much cheaper a Leaf could be than the current Zoe deal

any others I should look at

anyone had a stonking deal on an EV recently?

Yes, I noticed a few, including one on 3+23 £286 per month including VAT 10k miles / year. That's not bad, but for my use, the car isn't worth 2x the cost of the Zoe

Have a look at these guys, mentioned above - http://www.fleetdrive-electric.com

No connection, but lots of good feedback about them from others on other sites...

I have read if you default on the lease payments you get a bill for £4,500.

The sweet spot seems to be 2015 Accenta with 6.6KW and about 5k, £10-11k but you have to get lucky with a quick spot on ebay/AT. That is a battery owned car.

Battery leasing makes the whole point of EV's slightly ridiculous if you don't do many miles.

OP here's a plan
Your car is up at Xmas I guess, well the new new leaf is due March /April 17 meaning the old leaf and possibly the 30kw will be on sell off from about Xmas.
There should be some decent deals then one would hope.

I hope that you're right - my Zoe deal is up in early Jan so I'm weighing up the options as well smile

I cannot see how that wouldnt transpire, I have loved my 18 months in leaf land its the best round the houses car I have ever had if a lower spec not so much but keyless, heated seats, leather all make it nice to commute in it just lacks the DAB of the newer models. If I can get another £1800 a year deal or even a bit more then I am in again.

I fail to see what a Tesla or i3 or anything else adds to a commuting car and school run, cinema etc in fact the "park it anywhere" feeling is lovely.

Tesla - Space, quality, functionality, badge, performance and range
BMW - badge, quality

TBH despite this, none will make your use much better vs. the cost of these.

And thats my point, I will always have a cabrio so its a EV and a cabrio and the drop top will be the fun car (its currently a Mustang but I am not getting on with it) so the "get to work" car doesnt need to cost anymore than it does. My Shakatak cruising is not done by EV biggrin
