This is really a good step in the right direction, our 30kWh is capable of a solid 100 miles, so this would be definitely capable of 200 I would think...

Hopefully just in time for when our 2 year PCP on the 30kWh ends ;-)

Thats interesting- stick that in the en-v van thing they make and electric propulsion could come of age and be usefull for people who have a actual must to use vehicles in the city rather than a willy waver!

Great news, likewise my deal will be coming to an end about then and to be honest I'm more than happy with the range of the 30kwh so any extra is a big bonus.

That's pretty good. 60kWh/200 miles is low end Model 3 territory and to me is about where range moves from being a city car to a "normal" car.

If they could stick that tech in a non-weird/boring looking body at a reasonable price i'd be interested for sure.

I've never understood why car manufactures make EV's and Hybrids look weird. Tesla have at least gone down the route of making them look normal.

Never thought the leaf looked weird, just looks like any other mid sized hatch, albeit slightly better looking than most. But I get your point, I think it's a 'look at our futuristic car' thing, but as a potential buyer it puts me off.

The fairly conventional looks are part of why I like the leaf.

I would say this as I commute in one(and increasingly, use it for normal life) but I think the Leaf just looks like your average, bland, slightly tubby Jap hatch.

To be honest, I quite like driving it, you get precisely no attention whatsoever, its just a form of average looking transport, going about its business.
