To be fair, it's more of a Cayenne Turbo (£95k starting) competitor than a Macan Turbo (£63k starting) competitor, both in terms of size (7 seater) and performance (Model X quicker than all of them...), and compared to the Cayenne it's good value - particularly considering the significantly reduced running costs!

The equivalent S specced up with para roof, powdfed tailgate, and 75D battery is 'only' £5k less than the base X. So actually the X is probably better value for money.

P90D with Ludicrous. 7 seats, every box ticked, Midnight Silver Metallic, Black leather, Figured Ash, light headliner - 20" Silver Slipstream wheels (range and comfort...!)

Alleged delivery before the end of the year, maybe...

Cannot wait.

Expect a few more people will be playing with the design studio after tonight's Top Gear...

Likewise... ticked every box (apart from 6 seats instead of 7) and it's a whisker under £130k. Blue paint, white interior, dark ash trim, and 22" silver turbine wheels.

Hoping they'll announce 100kWh battery soon and I can upgrade my order before it goes into production.

I thought deposit holders have been able to spec their cars for a while now?

Indeed, mine is a whisker over £130k. 100kWh upgrade before production would be nice :-)

Nope, all us reservation holders got access to the design Studio at the same time last Saturday with everyone else. Our orders just get production preference in reservation order, allegedly.

However in the US they shipped the highest spec ones first, regardless of reservation order.

Have to say, under the bright lights of NYC Model X looked fantastic on Top Gear last night! Will stick with my Model S for now, but can see a Model X in the future, if only to get the ability to fit a bl00dy tow hitch!!!

The have a white LHD 7-seat Black Leather P90D Model X in West Drayton now.

Showroom only, no test drives.

Test drives start when first RHD cars arrive in UK, in a couple of months.
