I'm off on holiday for a couple of weeks and I'm not sure whether to leave the i8 connected to the Wallbox while I'm away or disconnect it.
It's in a garage.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
I have always left my EV plugged in when not used. It can do no harm and will ensure it's topped up when you're backIt's in a garage.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

should be okay.. electronics will prevent it from over charging. If regular then why not install a timer ? would give you peace of mind.
I left it plugged in to the wallbox whist away and it was fine. It's not possible to have a timer. It's a big huge BMW sealed box wired straight to the fuse box. 32 Amp feed I beleive!! :-o
I was more worried in case it developed a fault and fried something!! I generally go around unplugging everything when away! Although I have always left CTEK chargers plugged in on my cars whilst away. The Wallbox is a more meaty device to leave powered up!!
