Chargers and Zoes
Discussion
The journey: Welwyn to the O2 and back, 90 miles return on the M25/M11 or about 70 low miles straight across London.
The ideal scenario: Charge at the O2, easy!
In reality: No type 2 charger at O2. Plan B, top up at South Mimms. Charger out of order, has been for 4 days I was told as I turn up by a Leaf driver. Phone call confirms this. Head for Ikea Tottenham, 2 Leafs in queue to charge, one a taxi. Get on the charger after an hour, won't connect successfully to the car. Back on the road driving very gingerly and head for the O2.
I made it home with 10 miles to spare as I went straight through London driving very slowly and smoothly, no easy task! We have a year left with the Zoe then its going back, and whilst I will miss its lovely drive and it does a 60 mile commute with ease that is the end of my tether with anything further.
Just to make the long slow journey worse, I get home and plug the car in and it won't charge. Rebooting the car and charger finally gets it working.
