i3 drivers what is it with them??

So yesterday's post hogger has gone today but as I went to move off like a good citizen having charged just now I see another i3 parked in the spot and not even charging!
Unbelievably selfish.
I'm turning into a zealot. For people supposedly wanting to be socially aware and environmental some of them are selfish tts!
Funny enough I have mine purely for cost reasons being a dyed in the wool capitalist yet I have more of a social conscience.

Could say the same about my local C350 driver. Nicely parked up and plugged in at eight in the morning complete with green battery light already iluminated. ( I assume this means fully charged? ) Still there at five in the evening.

I've noticed on a couple of rapid charger locations that they have time restrictions of max 45 min, but think we need some more.
Some will argue that makes it impractical to charge at their workplace, well sorry this isn't a solution for every worker in the UK. Charge at home for the commute and if you're travelling use public chargers to extend your range, not destination charging for 8 hours.
Another bad example is a rapid charger in a park and ride that costs £5 wether you're there for 20 min (for a charge) or 8 hours. Why have a rapid charge that is blocked by 2 cars all day? Should have been 16 bays of slow chargers for the same cost...

Can't speak for C350 but my Ampera shows solid green when charging then flashing green when fully charged. The charge light shows Amber when in 'fail to charge' state. HTHDoesn't matter what you drive, a selfish tosser will always be a selfish tosser.
Paying, booking, all unnecessary costly and burdensome for the 99% of us who have the intelligence to think of others.
Source London etc could easily sanction hoggers who leave it plugged in for minimal fuss. You overstay you're warned, repeat and you can't charge for a week.
People always jump to over regulation at the first sign of trouble.
The beauty of what we have now is the adhoc nature.

The booking thing will have to happen soon though. When I'm leaving for a 70 mile drive and I know there's 3 rapid chargers on route I've got to guess which one will be availble for me when I get there. If I can see which is free to book I'll go there. A number of times recently I've used apps to check the current status of a charger but I can't do that legally when I'm driving so by the time I turn up there's a car already there...
