Next weekend planing to drive down to pembrey (210 mile drive) and have an opportunity to take a tesla S. The 85kwh batt is rated for 265 miles but wouldn't be surprised if this is an overly optimistic figure, especially when wanting to try out the cars performance driving

Do you think I will make it there in 1 go?

depends how fast you travel and/or get stuff in slow traffic.

There are superchargers on the way?

Slow/stationary traffic will add to range, it's the quick driving that drains it. The 550 mile record on one charge was set by someone doing 24mph avg for 26 hrs or something stupid like that.

If your trip is any thing like ours last weekend your be seeing plenty of jams. Not sure if it's just to do with the Rugby World Cup but around Newport/Cardiff it was like a car park.

I love graphs, the range drops off at lower speed...

The difference with the AC off and on is interesting - didn't realise it had such a drastic effect.

you could almost make it there and back if you drove at 20mph with no AC...

I went to Swansea Uni one day and Cardiff uni another from London area. Top up at either of the superchargers in the Bristol area. The services at Cardiff & Swansea have Chademo and type 2 chargers. If you have Chademo adaptor you can top up 60 miles in 30 minutes, otherwise its about 15 miles in 30 minutes with the type 2.

Supercharger also at Metropole Hotel, Llandrindod Wells in mid-Wales. Lots of car clubs visit there & hotel owner is a petrolhead wink
