Looking at a Leaf Tekna, is this a good deal?
Discussion
Just been into my local Nissan dealer after test-driving a Tekna last week.
They had two offers for me:
First offer:
£25,590 OTR.
2yr PCP at 0% APR
£3,197.50 customer deposit
£3,200 deposit contribution from Nissan/the dealer.
12,000 miles per year
£209.51 per month.
Second offer, which is supposedly an "employee offer" and is the cheapest they could get as it's essentially the price the staff would pay.
£25,590 OTR.
2yr PCP at 5.9% APR
£1,000 customer deposit
£6,729.80 discount from Nissan (bringing OTR price down to £18,860)
12,000 miles per year
£196.64 per month.
Now, obviously that second deal looks much better and I guess the interest rate doesn't really matter too much in this instance as the higher-interest offer is lower monthlies, but does that seem like a good deal?
