Just been into my local Nissan dealer after test-driving a Tekna last week.

They had two offers for me:

First offer:

£25,590 OTR.
2yr PCP at 0% APR
£3,197.50 customer deposit
£3,200 deposit contribution from Nissan/the dealer.
12,000 miles per year
£209.51 per month.

Second offer, which is supposedly an "employee offer" and is the cheapest they could get as it's essentially the price the staff would pay.

£25,590 OTR.
2yr PCP at 5.9% APR
£1,000 customer deposit
£6,729.80 discount from Nissan (bringing OTR price down to £18,860)
12,000 miles per year
£196.64 per month.

Now, obviously that second deal looks much better and I guess the interest rate doesn't really matter too much in this instance as the higher-interest offer is lower monthlies, but does that seem like a good deal?

If it's the deal with £850 deposit contribution it's great but if you can get the £1350 deposit contribution it's a mistake and take their hand off.

It's the £850 one. What's the crack with the £1,350 ones? Offer that's not technically available any more?

Sunderland staff only but in March there was just one level so in effect it's worse this Sept than March for a Retail customer who qualifies for ' Employee' (cough)

I've been offered a Tekna with paint, 10k pa, 24 month £750 down for £184pcm at the same 5.9% Nissan deal.

Helped that my brother in law's going to get one at the same time too!

Pulled the trigger on a Tekna 6.6kWh in solid red. Should be delivered around my birthday in early September, which is nice!
