My girlys Zoe arrived today, she's chuffed to bits with it! I work for Renault so it's not as special for me but looking forward to seeing what they're like to live with and I hope she enjoys it for the next couple of years.

The first impression I've taken is that the setting up of the home charge point is pretty poor, British Gas took weeks to go through two pieces of paper essentially, I sold another new one to a friend a week after ordering mine, by then b.g have dropped the contract and chargemaster have picked it up, but they're install time is two months down the line!
So my dealership have picked up the tab to have a local company fit one, I wondered what other people's experiences are?

Hi - my company installs the charge points in Scotland (not sure where you are) and there has been a lot of change behind the scenes with grant changes, both in terms of money available and the type of installations they are willing to fund.

We are trying to work hard with dealers to help them offer a better service to their customers but I've been surprised that most have an attitude of 'we sell the car... the customer has to work out how to charge it'

If I can be of any help let me know but there are a couple of good companies down south who get a regular mention (nuworld and phoenix) so hopefully you and others can get it sorted!
