BMW i8 competing at Shelsley Walsh this weekend

As per the title , being driven by a motoring journalist . Will be interesting to see how it goes .

Good man! Do let us know how the i8 gets on and if you get a chance to talk to the driver, I would love to know what his computer gives for recent MPG

I am currently the only electric vehicle driver in the Service Hydraulics Speed Championship. see www.speedchampionship.org.uk It would be nice to have some company. Incidentally the Shelsley Walsh record for an electric car is 37.30 seconds made on 8/5/2011 by a Tesla Roadster.I compete in a Mitsubishi I-MiEV.
