I'm demoing a Zoe at the moment and have a trip to do tomorrow. Cross country 47 miles there and 47 miles back.

Will it make it?

I have the option of plugging in to a wall socket charger while I'm there for a few hours.

Not if you want to drive at 'normal' speeds, it won't!

Definitely charge it up at your destination & enjoy a relaxing trip

Thanks for the info. I actually made a mistake in the first postand title. I actually have a Nissan Leaf on demo! I assume the range is similar.

Yes it is - I get 3.9 miles per KW / 88 on a charge ish with the Leaf, the Mrs gets nearly the same from her Zoe

Depending on the amount of hills on the route I estimate that assuming you start with 100% charge and drive at 55MPH you will arrive with 45% battery remaining. Charge for two hours and you'll be up to about 65% giving a good amount of spare capacity for the return trip.

When you've got around 10 miles and 30% charge left I suggest that you hoon the thing and prepare to be impressed.

Made it! Got there having used 53% of battery. Charge up to 80% while we were there and nailed it home!
