Rapid charger at Peterborough services, A1M.....?

Has anyone used this charger? The Ecotricity map on their website is useless (and has always been useless) so would be nice to know if anyone has used it very recently.

The CCS one (used by the VW eGolf) is down tonight but the other one is working.

I think you misunderstood me. The CCS rapid charge wasn't working and the guy in the Leaf who was there said it hadn't been working for over 2 weeks! Do any of the Ecotricity rapid chargers actually work or are they all fked?

No, the AC/CHAdeMO Rapid is working fine. You can charge a Leaf, Outlander, Tesla, iMiev, Zoe, Soul no trouble.

It's only the CCS rapid that is broken and that is because VW can't get their specification right despite inventing the thing.

Can't help it if you've accidentally bought a reliable German car :-P
